Here at Winstanley College, we pride ourselves on brilliance. We want to provide students with the learning environment and the opportunities to support them in achieving their full potential. This week, we are catching up with former student Hannah Taylor, who embodies this ethos perfectly.
Hannah joined us from Standish Community High School in 2011. During her time at Winstanley, Hannah studied Philosophy, Medieval History, English Language, and Fine Art. She then went onto to become an Oxbridge student, studying BA English at Pembroke College Cambridge, where she received first-class honours!
Since then, Hannah has gone from strength-to-strength and excelled in her career. At present, she lives and works in North London in Executive Search and Leadership Advisory Consulting, placing board members and CEOs into private equity-backed businesses. Hannah’s ambition doesn’t end there – she wishes to obtain a Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology so that she can advance her career even further. In future, Hannah hopes to move into Leadership Advisory Counselling. We have no doubt that she will achieve this!
When asked what advice she would give to anyone considering enrolling at Winstanley, Hannah said:
‘Two years will absolutely fly by, so enjoy it (I definitely stressed too much!). And don’t be afraid to pursue what you love doing, Winstanley is an excellent place to start to develop your own voice and opinions, and doing so will set you up for great things when you leave.’
