Winstanley College Shortlisted for Educate Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that Winstanley College has been shortlisted for the 2024 Educate Awards in the category of Most Inspirational Sixth Form & College, sponsored by Liverpool John Moores University. This recognition highlights the dedication of our students, staff, and wider community in fostering an environment of inspiration and excellence.

Principal, Simon Lett, said: ‘Our students are truly exceptional, and it’s their passion and determination that drive us every day.  We strive to foster an environment that inspires them to achieve their very best, which is why being shortlisted for this award is such a meaningful recognition.’

The Educate Awards, founded in 2012 by Kim O’Brien, have become the largest education awards in the North West. This year’s ceremony will be held at Liverpool Cathedral on 15 November 2024, celebrating the finest schools and colleges across the region.

We would like to congratulate our fellow nominees, St John Rigby College and Ascent Autism Specialist College, for their inspiring work. We are excited to share this recognition with them and look forward to the ceremony.
